This ice skating championship at Sheffield Arena was awarded to the National Ice Skating Association of GB in 2012. It was held at the Arena with the nearby twin pad facilities of Sheffield Ice rinks used as practise ice. LAMBCO oversaw the show lighting, supplied by WhiteLight. Interestingly, the in-house hockey lights were not sufficient for HD TV so the show lighting was also used to add illumination for the competitions as well as the winners skating show.
